Get Wild and Colorful at the Arts Market this Month

On Saturday, March 29th from 10 am to 4 pm, explore your wild side at the Arts Market of New Orleans. In the Kids Tent, the Audubon Institute’s ZOOmobile brings the wonders of the natural world to children with interactive animal encounters at 10:30 am. After the show, kids can make Animal Art for the rest of the day!

WWOZ DJ Middleton O’Malley will keep patrons informed of activities, while sharing his extensive music collection, as Master of Ceremonies for the Arts Market. The Washboard Chaz Trio plays acoustic country blues at 1:00 p.m. in the Music Tent, followed at 2:30 p.m. by vintage jazz from Some Like It Hot! Enjoy the live music, great food, and creations from over 100 local artisans in this monthly open air celebration of creativity.

The Arts Market of New Orleans has colorful clothing, jewelry, and accessories for all your “festing” needs! Find unique, wearable art made by local craftspeople to dress for the festival season. Join the fun at the Arts Market of New Orleans in lovely Palmer Park...Uptown at the corner of Claiborne and Carrollton Avenues.
